Almeria’s airport is 8 km east from the city on the road to Nijar and only 55 minutes away from Berja.
There are charter flights from London Gatwick, Stansted, Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow, together with regular connections to Madrid and Barcelona. Car rental is readily avaliable at the airport with six firms having outlets, but booking ahead is recommended and you can expect to pay approximately €200 per week for a smaller saloon.
From the airport it is a short 5km drive to the A7, which is the motorway of the region and that will take you within 2 km of the villa.
